Description:

Punta Chiqueros is a small protected crescent-shaped cove at the beginning of a long stretch of beach known as Playa Punta Chiqueos. The pounding surf and dangerous undertow typically found on the leeward side of Cozumel is missing here since the cove is protected by the Chiqueros reef, another popular dive site. From San Miguel head along the Costera Sur highway east until Parque Punta Sur and turn north to travel along the Coastal Highway for about one mile.
